Francesca Bifulco is a native Southern Italian multi-media artist from Paestum, living and working in Los Angeles since 2013. She holds  a degree in Visual Arts for Set Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Her works have been collected and exhibited from California to Texas and from her homeland of Italy to Japan.

Through her practice that fluctuates between large-scale backdrop canvases and sculptural paintings, she explores the ways people fit into the environment, either as a collective entity coming together and crossing paths or as individuals fading into the mass. She finds herself inspired by the rituals that define a community, especially the ones that have sprouted up amidst social conflict; everyday routines transitioning into personal or local rituals. Recently, she has been incorporating her paintings into immersive and multi-sensory installations, combined with lighting, sonics, video and hybrid stage design as part of the LA based duo, Card 0 Collective.
